🎯 Position objective: We are looking for an Individual Giving Manager to build and lead one of Laboratoria's most important growth efforts by 2026. Our scholarship fund (Scholarship Fund) is our new philanthropic vehicle to connect with people who believe in Laboratoria's mission and turn that commitment into sustained support for our students. Your Responsibilities
:1. Strategy and execution of individual donationsLead the creation and launch of the scholarship fund as the main vehicle for individual donations of Laboratoria.Translate the general fundraising strategy of Laboratoria to concrete actions for individual donations: cultivation cycles, pitch sequences, campaign moments and donor activation plans.2. Portfolio Management Build, cultivate and monitor a portfolio of individual donors, including pilot donors from the scholarship fund, donor mentors, recurring donors and individual prospects with greater potential.
Follow up on the bond with each donor, identify moments of renewal and growth, and manage spaces for gratitude, updates and key milestones so that donors feel recognized and connected to the impact of Laboratoria.3.
Pipeline Management
Build and manage the pipeline of individual donations, both from the scholarship fund and other future opportunities: prospecting lists, qualification of opportunities, progress of conversations and tracking systems - sequences, reminders and next steps - that help convert interest into commitment.4. Materials and external relationsDevelop and lead the creation of materials for donors - pitch decks, landings, storytelling pieces and campaign content - coordinating with the Communications, Product and Finance teams. Take care of the editorial quality to ensure that the materials are consistent with the general positioning of Laboratoria and with our theory of change.
Plan and execute moments of external relations linked to the scholarship fund, such as events, conferences, spaces with donors and outreach campaigns that drive pipeline activity.5. Requirements
Required: 3 - 5 years of experience in individual giving, major gifts, campaigns or philanthropic fundraising - preferably in the social impact, technology or education sector. We will also consider profiles with similar experiences and transferable skills, especially in relationship building, cultivating donors or managing individual alliances. You communicate very well, in writing and verbally, in Spanish and English, and can work professionally in both languages. with different teams and senior stakeholders, and you are an organized person and attentive to details.
You combine strategic vision with execution capacity: you know how to evaluate the potential of a prospect or opportunity, identify what is most important and propose next steps with good judgment. You have initiative, you take charge of putting ideas into action and you consistently follow up so that things move forward and come to fruition. You are enthusiastic about building initiatives from scratch or from early stages.
The scholarship fund is a new commitment for Laboratoria, and this role will be key to designing it, launching it and making it grow.
