This individual will be responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. This role involves performing complex data analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic support to other departments (FP&A, HR etc) and strategic partner company and the C&B accounting team.

, operational feedback, and escalationsBe partner of ES Controllership pillar leaders to drive closing efficiency related to C&BAct as strategic business single point of contact for GE Vernova HQ team and other GEV business, as necessaryLead closing process to efficiently solve upcoming issues while analyzing financial informationDrive C&B process in collaboration with relevant MSP teamLead implementation of C&B system changes and monitor its efficiency & effectiveness at different systems level (SAP, Atlas, Concur, GPAS)Challenge process & system deficiencies… drive simplification and continuous improvementLead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing responsibilities including preparation, analysis and consolidation & commentary of balance sheet (FRP, Balance sheet deep dive, support the preparation of Data request Deep dive) for the related process areaPrepare and maintain C&B process related procedures Process flows, approve SOPs, support costing related issuesDrive resolution of unreconciled accounts; review reconciled accounts for compliance with established criteria and overall qualityExtensive interaction with financial planning & analysis (FP&A), technical, & business line controllership teamsMaintain effective & efficient partnerships with auditors & other service providersRepresent business in steering committee (if applicable)Support new business acquisition, system implementation and related tasksRequired

Qualifications
