Who we are Rockstardevelopers, founded in Mannheim in 2015, additional offices in Stuttgart and Munich. We are a software developer with experience from hundreds of individual projects for enterprise and medium-sized customers. Short channels, honest feedback, no political games.

No hierarchy levels between you and the people making decisions. Your tasks You will work on customer projects at large companies, embedded in their teams, with full responsibility for your area. Full stack development in enterprise environments Helping shape architecture, not just implementing it Generating, reviewing and refactoring code with Claude Code, Copilot or Cursor Code reviews and technical mentoring in the team Coordination with product owners, UX and DevOps Most people come to one of the offices one or two days a week.

But it's not a compulsion. You will only be on site with the customer for individual appointments every few weeks. What you bring senior level.

Our customers need people who deliver and work independently from day one. Requirement for this position: proven project experience in the Deutsche Bahn or DB Systel environment. You have developed in the DB context for several years and know railway-specific domains such as timetable management, sales or control and safety technology.

Without this experience the position is not a good fit. Tech stack: Frontend: React or Angular, TypeScript Backend: Java/Spring Boot, .NET, Kotlin or Python Cloud: AWS or Azure Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB or comparable CI/CD, Docker, Git Kubernetes, Terraform, Microservices You don't have to be able to do everything. It is important that you are confident on both sides and can quickly find your way into new stacks.

For us, AI experience is not a nice additional qualification. Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor: You have to be able to work productively with this. Not because we want to be hip, but because our customers expect it and that's how we work.
