Job Description SummaryThe Global Process Engineer (GPE) will work closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader, the primary focus area will be developing and deploying global standards that improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance’s manufacturing equipment and processes. They will analyze data, and work cross-functionally to implement proactive measures that improve processes. This person will also be responsible for cost reduction through standardization of equipment and processes, establishing standards, and ensuring adherence to these standards.

They will also be a focal point for new technology introductions, asset transfers, new process introductions; inclusive of lead time, technology selection and recommendations for fixturing, tooling, process, control plans, and

of manufacturing assets. The GPE will coach and influence a dotted-line organization, comprised of factory manufacturing engineers across the Aero Alliance factories. Critical to the role is leveraging analytical skills, the lean methodology and the guiding principle of creating process standards for equipment (“One Product One Process”) to drive SQDC in line with business and functional objectives.

.Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs.Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improve quality processes.Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions to eliminate the problems from re-occurring.Provide technical support for asset management, including equipment life cycle analysis and spare parts optimization.Train local factory manufacturing engineers to deepen their expertise in process and equipment.Participate in the design and installation of new equipment and implementation of processes, ensuring reliability is considered from the outset (Design for Reliability).Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
