Contract Corporate Recruiter

Overview:Onward Search is seeking an experienced Contract Corporate Recruiter to provide coverage during the summer months while supporting internal hiring initiatives. This role will focus on full‑cycle recruiting for internal teams as we continue to build and launch new, exciting divisions across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of urgency, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and has prior agency or high‑volume recruiting experience.This is a part-time contract opportunity averaging approximately 20 hours per week.

Workdays and hours are flexible based on business needs and candidate availability.

Key Responsibilities

:Support full‑cycle internal recruiting for Onward Search, including roles across Sales, Recruiting, Leadership (VP‑level), and emerging business divisionsPartner closely with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs, priorities, and timelinesSource, screen, and assess candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, internal tools, and proactive outreachManage candidate pipelines and maintain momentum in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environmentProvide a strong candidate experience while moving quickly and decisivelyAssist in building and shaping new divisions alongside internal leadershipRequired

Qualifications

:Prior recruiting experience required; agency or staffing experience strongly preferredProven ability to work with speed, urgency, and minimal oversightExperience recruiting across multiple job families and seniority levelsStrong communication, organization, and time‑management skillsComfortable managing multiple open roles simultaneouslyAbility to step in quickly and operate independentlyBachelor’s degree preferredPay & Contract Details:Contract Duration: Mid-July - SeptemberHours: 20 hours/weekPay Rate: $35 - $37/hourAbout Onward SearchOnward Search is a nationwide provider of staffing and talent solutions.
