We are looking for your expertise as a press spokesperson (m/f/d) in order to help shape the further expansion of our voluntary and professional structures and to advance our mission with passion. Tasks Joint development of a press team.

Development and implementation of a communication strategy to present the goals and activities of federal consumer assistance to the public. Writing and editing press releases, newsletters, blog posts and other communication materials. Establish and maintain relationships with media representatives and other relevant stakeholders.

Monitoring of media reports and trends that are relevant to the work of federal consumer assistance. Organization and support of press conferences and other media events. Answering press inquiries and representing the Federal Consumer Aid in interviews and discussion groups.

Qualifications

Completed studies or training in communication sciences, journalism, public relations or a related field would be an advantage. Experience in public relations or journalism, ideally related to consumer protection or similar topics. Excellent oral and written communication skills in German.

Ability to present complex issues in an understandable and target group-appropriate manner. High level of independence, organizational skills and flexibility. Ability to work in a team and the willingness to advocate for consumer rights.
