Engineering Lead (m/w/d) Enterprise Software / Fintech

As our B2B business grows, we are looking for an experienced engineering lead who, together with our existing engineering team, will take technical responsibility for complex enterprise projects from the initial architecture and security discussion through technical workshops to the successful go-live.

We are not looking for a traditional manager or a pure software developer. We are looking for someone who can take on technical responsibility, communicate confidently with customers and partners and accompany challenging technical issues from the initial architectural discussion to successful implementation. Tasks As an engineering lead, you will take on technical responsibility for complex software projects in the enterprise environment.

You work closely with Product, Design, our founders and our customers and accompany projects from technical conception to successful implementation. Among other things, you will: ✅ Take on technical responsibility for demanding customer projects and successfully implement them together with customers, product and engineering. ✅ Prepare and conduct technical workshops with customers and partners. ✅ Working out architecture, security, compliance and integration issues together with different stakeholders and developing viable solutions. ✅ Translate complex

into architectural decisions, technical concepts and actionable tickets. ✅ Identify technical risks early and develop pragmatic solutions. ✅ Actively develop backend, web, mobile and integration solutions and accompany important implementations yourself. ✅ Conduct code reviews and continuously improve the technical quality of our platform. ✅ Take technical responsibility for our platform together with our existing senior engineer and actively share knowledge. ✅ Document technical decisions understandably and communicate transparently

Qualifications

✔ Several years of experience as a senior software engineer, technical lead or in a comparable role. ✔ Experience in the technical implementation of demanding B2B or enterprise software projects. ✔ Experience leading technical workshops with customers or external stakeholders. ✔ The ability to explain complex architecture, security, compliance and integration issues in an understandable manner and to develop viable solutions together with various specialist departments. ✔ Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and good knowledge of English. ✔ Enjoy taking responsibility and driving forward technical topics independently. ✔ Hands-on mentality - you not only discuss architecture, but also implement it together with the team. Ideally, you also have experience with: ● PHP / Laravel ● TypeScript / Next.js ● Swift / SwiftUI ● AWS & Docker ● API design ● Authentication and authorization ● Security and data protection concepts ● Enterprise software or Fintech A perfect stack match is less important to us than technical judgment, communication skills and the ability to successfully lead complex projects to their goal
