Technical Solutions Engineer - Data Platform (Pre-Sales & Customer Success)

You combine pre-sales, technical account management and professional services - from solution design and demos to optimizing deployments in on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments. As a tech-loving maker and ambassador, you will represent Stackable at events, create groundbreaking content, and engage in the open source community to drive adoption and collaboration.Technical Pre-Sales & Proof of Concept (PoC): Design and execute PoCs for or with customers, hold demos (0-2 per week), and answer technical questions.Work closely with sales to drive adoption of our solutions.Support customers in the Optimize their architecture, deployments, performance tuning and troubleshooting.Technical Account Management & Customer Success:Build trusting relationships with customers and ensure they are successful with the Stackable Data Platform.Partner Integration & Enablement:Work with cloud service providers (CSPs), technology partners and system integrators (SIs) to integrate Stackable into their offerings and identify them as trusted implementation and delivery partners Strengthen.Community Building: Cultivate relationships with developers, data professionals, and open source communities to foster collaboration and advocacy.

Engage in our open source community on GitHub, Discord, or Reddit.Event Presence, Talks & Content Creation: Be the passionate voice of our Stackable Data Platform and drive awareness, adoption, and community engagement.Represent Stackable at industry events, deliver compelling presentations, and create groundbreaking content to show the strengths and possibilities of our open source data platform.your profileHands-on experience with data platforms, cloud infrastructures or distributed systems.Experience with data streaming or data lakehouse architectures and their implementation with the applications of the Stackable Data Platform - in particular Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Apache Spark, OpenSearch, Apache Airflow, Trino and Apache Superset.Strong communication skills and experience in technical Account management.Passion for open source, customer success and partner enablement.Willingness to travel: The position is remote-first, but occasional travel (approximately once a month) to customers, partners or industry events is desired.
