In this role, you translate contract documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and purchase orders) into accurate, code-compliant door, frame, and hardware schedules that the entire project team depends on. Your work determines what gets ordered, what gets installed, and whether a project meets UL, fire code, ADA, life safety, and local building code

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, architecture, or construction-related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience considered2 to 4 years of experience in detailing, estimating, project coordination, or specification work within the commercial construction or building materials industryApplied knowledge of door, frame, and hardware types, manufacturer product lines, and how components interact in a complete opening assemblyWorking knowledge of UL listings, fire and smoke ratings, ADA
