Service Designer Junior

## Position Name Service Designer Junior/Senior LOCATION Medellín or remote ## Summary We are looking for a person who has knowledge and skills as a service designer to actively participate in the design process of complex service ecosystems, which mixes both rational, emotional and aesthetic elements in the designs. POSITION DESCRIPTION This position will be part of various project teams responsible for designing or redesigning services of an analog, digital or mixed nature for clients in various industries. As a member of the team, you will participate in all stages of the project necessary to understand customers and users of services and translate this knowledge into the design of offers, experiences, channels or interactions that generate high impact and satisfaction and that balance the needs and expectations of customers and businesses. ## Functions of the Position oDesign qualitative and quantitative research processes of users, clients and contexts oParticipate in qualitative field work mainly through field observation and contextual or ethnographic interviews oCollect secondary information from clients, users, processes, competition and other research subjects that are defined in the projects oParticipate in processes of generating ideas and alternatives for service design challenges oParticipate in conceptualization processes of solutions to service design challenges oParticipate in prototyping processes of solutions to service design challenges, using tools such as journeys, value proposals or maps, empathy maps, business models and other similar tools oDesign basic graphical representations of information (infographics, graphs, tables, schedules) oWork with time limitations on several tasks and projects simultaneously oInteract with different people and positions in companies that contract service design projects oCoordinate or execute specific activities on the service schedules projects oPrepare design process material such as Powerpoint presentations or similar, data tables in Excel or similar oOccasional and basic use of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator ## MINIMUM Required

Qualifications

oKnowledge and experience in design frameworks such as design or architecture projection, Design Thinking or Service Design. oExperience of field activities such as interviews, observations, focus groups or similar oWork with time constraints on several tasks and projects simultaneously oAbility to work in multifunctional teams oTwo years of relevant work experience in topics related to the design of objects, services, products or channels oProfessional in areas of marketing, design, engineering or business oGood reading level in English ## Desirable oExperience and knowledge in service industries oPostgraduate degree in design oAdvanced English oKnowledge of design tools such as Illustrator, Sketch or similar oExperience and knowledge in digital design (apps, web, bots or similar) ## Work Environment oThis position is part of a team of designers of digital services, channels and solutions that serve clients in various industries. oMany projects are deadline-based and the collaborator must manage time efficiently with minimal supervision to respond to situations quickly and accurately. oMust be comfortable working with Xperience employees at all levels, as well as customers and partners. oXperience has a calm and relaxed environment with a medium level of formality, where the ability to work in diverse teams, be creative, be proactive, have a great learning capacity and be cordial and empathetic is valued.
