We are working with a leading organisation that requires an experienced IT Engineer to join on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities
Provide 2nd/3rd line support across Windows and cloud environments.Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and end-user devices.Support cloud migration projects and infrastructure upgrades.Ensure security best practices are maintained across systems.Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve technical issues.Skills & ExperienceStrong background in IT infrastructure engineering and support.Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, O365, and Azure.Experience with networking (switches, routers, firewalls).Knowledge of virtualisation technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience working as an independent contractor, able to deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.Desirable (Not Essential)Exposure to scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and security tools.Whats on Offer£300 per day (Outside IR35)6-month initial contract with potential for extensionRemote-first role with flexibilityOpportunity to work with a well-established organisation on key projects
