This role will work with assigned departments to move the organization from a tactical purchasing process into a strategic sourcing program that can drive value and cost savings for their internal client groups as they continue to grow.As Strategic Sourcing Analyst, you will:Lead the sourcing process for the assigned internal client groups (a client group example would be the Operations Organization comprised of direct materials, contract manufacturing, and engineering)Deploy sourcing tools including supplier search, analysis, supplier management, contract management, RFX development, and execution utilizing the Scanmarket softwarePartner and develop relationships with internal clients to define and prioritize business
Requirements
Research industries and suppliers to ensure the most viable suppliers are identified and consideredManage the RFX process by composing RFX documents in Scanmarket, reviewing documents with stakeholders, and submitting documents to suppliersNegotiate supplier contracts for optimal pricing, services, quality and valueDemonstrate value of the Sourcing Department to the organization by defining, measuring and reporting relevant metricsManage multiple projects at once, delivering on anticipated timelines and cost-savingsPerform advanced supplier searches utilizing AIA successful Strategic Sourcing Analyst will demonstrate:Strong communication and organization skillsPrior experience serving in a Project Management capacityAbility to summarize supplier quotes into concise SOW’sExperience managing through influenceStrong relationship building skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environmentTo be considered for the position, you must have:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field7+ years of corporate purchasing experience with increasing levels of responsibilityCPM, CPSM or similar professional certification desiredPharmaceutical experience is preferred, but not requiredOriginally posted on Himalayas
