Key Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:The Advisory Board will oversee three core workstreams:Ensuring sports are register-readyDeveloping the Registrar function to oversee accredited register holdersLeading the digital development of a publicly searchable national registerBoard members will also contribute to important decisions such as:Defining the level of scrutiny applied within the systemAgreeing monitoring and governance processesShaping and approving the Registrar’s identity, purpose, and structureTime commitmentApproximately four meetings per year over an 18-24-month periodAn initial in-person induction/standardisation meeting (where possible)Subsequent meetings held remotely, with papers circulated in advanceAttendance at two national stakeholder events per yearFuture opportunityOver time, this Advisory Board is expected to evolve into the governing board of the appointed organisation responsible for overseeing the scheme (the Registrar).Who we're looking forWe welcome applications from individuals with diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives, who are passionate about improving standards, governance, and public trust within sport and physical activity.For full details
