Little Otter is a clinician-founded mental health company delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to children and families through a structured, measurement-informed care model.We’re building a model where clinicians can see real outcomes from their work while providing accessible, whole-family care.The RoleWe are seeking independently licensed therapists in California who are passionate about working with children and families within a structured, measurement-based care model.In this role, you will deliver high-quality virtual therapy while using standardized assessments and ongoing measures to guide diagnosis, track progress, and inform treatment.What You’ll DoProvide evidence-based teletherapy to children (ages 6 - 17) and their familiesDeliver interventions such as CBT, Exposure Response Prevention, Parent Management Training, PCIT, CPP, and other evidence-based modalitiesComplete timely and accurate clinical documentation (intakes, treatment plans, progress notes) using our platformAssessment & Measurement-Based CareConduct comprehensive intake and diagnostic assessments for child and family clientsPerform multi-dimensional evaluations, including assessing family dynamics, school environment, medical history, and cultural factorsAssess risk and safety including SI/HI/NSSI and complete safety plans with clients when indicatedUtilize standardized clinical measures to support diagnosis and ongoing careTrack client progress using session-level measures, incorporating both client-reported and clinician-assessed perspectivesMinimum
Qualifications
Master’s-level therapist independently licensed in California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent)Clinical experience providing psychotherapy to children and familiesDemonstrated experience treating common pediatric mental health conditions using evidence-based approachesStrong diagnostic and assessment skillsComfortable delivering care virtually and using technology in clinical practiceInterest in or experience with measurement-informed care and outcomes trackingIf you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply.ScheduleMinimum 7 client caseload with 80% of sessions during California peak hours:Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 7:00pm PTCompensation$80-$85 per session
