As a Founding Account Executive (f/m/d), you are largely responsible for creating the commercial foundations for our next growth phase. You will work directly with our founder, actively develop our commercial playbook and have a clear development path into a leadership role as our sales team continues to grow. Tasks You are responsible for the entire sales cycle - from identifying potential customers and building a qualified pipeline through negotiation and closing to handover to our onboarding team.
You actively shape the commercial playbook that serves as a basis for future sales employees - from positioning and pricing to processes, tools, reporting and sales enablement. You will build a predictable pipeline through outbound activities, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and strategic partnerships. You conduct advisory sales discussions, identify our customers' actual business challenges and position Mailody as a long-term growth partner - not just another agency.
Together with the founder, you will continuously develop our ideal customer profiles, our positioning and our go-to-market strategy - based on customer feedback and market knowledge. You will represent Mailody at e-commerce events, networking events and industry conferences, strengthening both your personal brand and ours. You will take responsibility for ambitious sales goals and play a crucial role in building a high-performing sales team.
Qualifications
You have at least two years of successful sales experience, for example as a Business Development Representative, SDR or Account Executive, and have regularly achieved or exceeded your sales goals. You communicate at a native speaker level in German and business fluently in English (at least C1) - in writing and orally. Experience in selling solutions in the e-commerce, SaaS or digital marketing environment is a big advantage.
A completed degree in business administration or a comparable course of study is welcome. What matters to us, however, is your willingness to perform and your ability to be successful. You have a real builder mindset.
