The Founders Bay Impact Accelerator is a needs-based, six-month program for startups outside of big cities. Finding startups outside of metropolises means thinking differently, searching differently and evaluating them differently. We want to find the teams that no one else has on the list. This requires creative solutions, real network building and the motivation to take our scouting and screening process step by step to the next level through modern automation.
Startup scouting & analysis Find hidden champions: You identify outstanding startups in rural areas, away from the usual platforms. Active research & outreach: You use LinkedIn, local networks, universities, funding programs and events for scouting. Network building: You build your own network of multipliers - from business development agencies to universities and regional communities.
Pre-screening: You analyze and evaluate suitable startups based on our program criteria. Automation of the deal flow workflow setup: You will actively participate in setting up automated scouting and screening processes. AI integration: You use AI (e.g.
Claude, ChatGPT) to make research, analysis and pre-qualification more efficient. Note: You don't have to be a developer - a little tech affinity, curiosity and willingness to learn are enough! Communication & relationship building The first face: You are the first point of contact at Founders Bay for many founders.
Outreach & First Calls: You proactively approach teams (also via cold outreach) and make the first qualification calls. Community maintenance: You maintain and intensify contacts with startup communities and regional partners Deal flow process & documentation Application management: You evaluate and pre-sort incoming applications according to clear criteria. CRM structure: You carefully maintain and structure the incoming applications in our CRM.
Qualifications
Education: At least a successfully completed bachelor's degree. Experience: First professional experience in a startup or environments such as strategy consulting, venture capital, corporate M&A or a comparable position. Tech & AI affinity: You have an enthusiasm for tools such as Claude, Click-Up, Notion, Slack as well as initial contact with automation tools.
Process love: You think in structures. Efficient, clean processes and an organized way of working are important to you. Strong communication skills: You have a genuine interest in people and are not afraid of proactive approaches (cold outreach).
Mindset: You work independently and results-oriented in a remote setup and are passionate about impact topics.
