About the Role

The Android Developer role is critical to expanding Chess.com's mobile platform capabilities and supporting the company's growth. This position directly impacts millions of chess players worldwide by developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver seamless gaming experiences. The role ensures Chess.com maintains its position as the #1 chess platform globally through technical excellence, innovation, and cross-platform code efficiency across the mobile ecosystem.What you'll doDevelop and maintain Chess.com's flagship Android application to serve 185M+ global chess players with high-performance, scalable mobile experiencesDesign and implement shared codebase architecture across our Android ecosystem to maximize development efficiency and code reusabilityCollaborate cross-functionally with design, product management, data analytics, coaching, and titled player teams to translate business
