POSITION SUMMARY:As the Histotechnologist Supervisor you will oversee the activities of the lab and Signatera team that is cutting, staining and preparing tissue samples for the pathologist view. The individual is responsible for supervising and participating in operations of the histology lab. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required Active ASCP Board of Certification, HT(ASCP), HLT(ASCP)4+ years Histology laboratory experience required, and minimum 2 years supervisory experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Excellent written and oral communication skills.Able to accurately understand and convey information to team members Ability to think broadly about the importance of information. Ability to work independentlyStrong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP and relevant state regulationsUnderstanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and proceduresProficient with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft OfficeHigh level of attention to detail with strong organizational skillsComfortability making decisions in a changing environmentAbility to handle the physical
