About the Role

As Community Manager at Colonist, you are the voice, pulse, and connector of a fast-growing global gaming community. Your mission is to build lasting relationships, keep the community thriving across Discord and beyond, run live tournaments, and turn passionate players into lifelong advocates. You won't just manage a community, you'll shape the culture of one of the most active board game platforms on the internet.You WillOwn Discord: moderate channels daily, enforce community rules, manage bots and rolesWrite and publish all community content (patch notes, newsletters, announcements) on-brand and on timeRun weekly tournaments and competitive seasons: scheduling, brackets, real-time moderation, resultsBuild direct relationships with top players, streamers, and creatorsReport weekly on community sentiment: what players love, hate, and want, pulled from Discord, Reddit, and socialCreate onboarding content for new players: welcome flows, beginner guides, FAQsManage the referral program: track metrics, improve mechanics, coordinate with marketingProduce posts, graphics (Canva), and short-form videos (CapCut)You AreExperienced in building and managing communitiesA gamer who plays board games and understands online communities first-handAI-first.
