Embedded Systems Developer

Salary: £37,000 - 67,000 per year

Requirements

: We require 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, ideally within a manufacturing environment.We require strong programming skills in C and C++; C# knowledge is beneficial.We require experience with microcontroller architectures such as ARM and Atmel.We require knowledge of communication protocols including USB, TCP/IP, UART, I2C, SPI, and Bluetooth LE or other wireless technologies.We require experience working with Linux and/or Windows operating systems.We require familiarity with Git or other source control tools.We require strong problem-solving and debugging skills.We require a Bachelors degree in embedded systems development or equivalent. Responsibilities: We design, develop, and maintain embedded software and firmware.We develop embedded software in C and C++, with some C# where required.We write low-level firmware, including drivers, peripherals, and communication interfaces.We support board bring-up and hardware/software integration.We carry out unit, integration, and system-level testing.We debug and resolve complex hardware/software issues.We contribute to design reviews and technical discussions.We produce clear technical documentation and follow best practice standards.
