Deputy Press Spokesperson / Consultant for Social Media & Communications (m/f/d)

Responsibilities As a press spokesman and social media consultant, you are responsible for InkuPlay's press, public and social media communication. You are the central contact person for media and support the management in all communication-related questions.

Your tasks include in particular: Development and implementation of a holistic press and communication strategy Central contact person for journalists, media, industry portals and other multipliers Independent processing and coordination of press and media inquiries Writing press releases, statements, interviews, briefings, Q&As and company announcements Representing InkuPlay to the media and the public within the framework of coordinated positioning Communication strategy advice to the management Preparation and support of the management during interviews, press discussions, events and public appearances Development clear core messages and positioning on corporate and industry-specific topics Editorial responsibility for InkuPlay's social media channels Conception, planning, creation and publication of social media posts Development of target group-oriented content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Creators, competitions, partnerships, personal details and company developments Building and maintaining a network of media representatives, industry media, content creators and relevant multipliers Observing and evaluating media reporting and relevant social media discussions Early recognition of communicative opportunities and possible reputational risks Development and implementation of crisis, reputation and issues communication Building internal coordination, approval and reaction processes Close collaboration with the areas of marketing, content, partnerships, esports, HR and legal coordination of external agencies, freelancers, photographers and videographers Evaluation of communication measures based on suitable key figures and creation of regular reports

Qualifications

Successfully completed studies, preferably in communication science, journalism, media studies, public relations, marketing, economics or social sciences, or a comparable qualification Professional experience in journalism, press and public relations, corporate communications, agency work or social media management Ideally practical experience as a press spokesman, press officer, PR manager or in a comparable communications function Very good communication skills as well as a confident, precise and target group-oriented writing style Ability to quickly grasp complex issues and prepare them in an understandable manner Confident and professional appearance towards the media, partners and the public Experience in processing media inquiries and writing press releases and statements Experience in the conception and implementation of social media content and campaigns Confident handling of common social media platforms and their different formats and target groups Basic knowledge of the creation and editing of images, graphics and and video material Confident use of content management systems and digital communication tools Ideally knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable applications Strong sense of relevant topics, trends, tones and possible reputational risks Interest in gaming, esports, digital entertainment and creator economy Very good knowledge of spoken and written German as well as good knowledge of English Strong organizational skills, initiative and a structured, independent way of working Reliability, discretion and a sense of responsibility in dealing with confidential information Creativity, ability to work in a team and resilience Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours for events, tournaments, urgent media inquiries or special communication situations You don't have to fully meet every requirement.
