You have mastered operational financial accounting, work carefully and ensure that bookings, accounts and invoices are accurate. As a financial accountant, you will independently take on central tasks in day-to-day business in our small finance team. At the same time, you support controlling with financial statements, reporting and business evaluations.

Tasks Your focus is on ongoing financial accounting, account reconciliation and the reliable preparation of our financial data. In addition, you will support our team with financial statements, reporting and controlling. Your tasks Independent processing of ongoing financial accounting Examination, account assignment and posting of ongoing business transactions Reconciliation of general ledger, debtor, creditor, bank and clearing accounts Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including the preparation of accruals, provisions and account statements Creation or preparation of advance sales tax returns and other reports Collaboration with debtor and project billing as well as in payment transactions and receivables management Preparation of reliable financial data for reporting, Forecasts and management evaluations Support of our controlling with analyzes and operational finance questions Collaboration with tax advisors, banks, authorities and internal contacts Further development and automation of our digital accounting and finance processes

Qualifications

Your profile: Completed commercial or tax training or a comparable qualification Several years of practical experience in financial accounting Security in account assignment, ongoing accounting and account reconciliation Experience in the preparation and support of monthly and annual financial statements Solid knowledge of Accounting according to HGB Basic understanding of reporting, forecasts, controlling and business indicators Confident use of ERP and accounting systems as well as good to very good Excel knowledge Structured, careful and independent way of working with a high level of reliability Strong hands-on mentality and the willingness to pursue open issues independently until they are clarified Interest in digital processes, automation and the sensible use of AI in everyday finance Clear communication and reliable collaboration in a completely remote team Very Good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English for our international environment Particularly valuable for us: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV Experience with project, agency or service billing Knowledge in the preparation of VAT returns Experience with international companies or intercompany coordination Points of contact with reporting tools, interfaces or automated finance workflows
