Position Overview:An IT Administrator at our healthcare startup ensures secure, reliable, and compliant IT systems that support clinical, operational, and engineering teams. This role is hands-on and critical to day-to-day operations, with responsibility for user support, systems administration, and security best-practice maintenance in a regulated environment.What You’ll DoManage employee devices, accounts, and access (laptops, mobile devices, SaaS tools)Administer identity and access management (SSO, MFA, role-based access)Support onboarding and offboarding while maintaining security and complianceMaintain and troubleshoot networks, endpoints, and cloud-based systemsMonitor system health, patching, and updatesRespond to IT support requests and resolve issues quicklyAssist with HIPAA, SOC 2, and security auditsDocument IT processes, policies, and proceduresWhat We’re Looking For:3+ years of experience in IT administration or systems supportExperience supporting macOS and Windows environmentsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Understanding of networking basics (DNS, VPNs, firewalls)Experience with endpoint management and MDM toolsStrong troubleshooting and communication skillsComfort working in a fast-paced startup environmentFamiliarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2 controlsExperience with tools like CrowdStrike, Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Jamf, and IntuneExposure to security incident response or vulnerability managementAbout youAligned with SimpliFed’s mission.Hankering to put the relationships back in medicineA posture towards execution - a true operator willing to both develop the strategy and execute it.Ability to work remotely and communicate asynchronously via slack and email, along with thriving in virtual meetings.
