Full-stack developer, junior/mid-level, for SaaS product

Affonso is a fast-growing, bootstrapped SaaS affiliate marketing platform. Since launching in November 2024, Affonso has been helping SaaS companies build, manage and scale their own affiliate and partner programs. The market is big, the product is live, paying customers use Affonso every day, and the growth clearly shows that there is a real need for a modern affiliate platform.

Affonso is deliberately bootstrapped. This means short decision-making processes, a high focus on product quality and direct contact with customers instead of slow corporate processes. The first technical role is currently being created alongside the founder.

This is a good opportunity for someone who not only wants to process tickets, but also wants to be an early part of building a growing SaaS product.

About the Role

As a full-stack developer, you work directly on the product and take responsibility for features, improvements and integrations. You will work on a modern SaaS product with a clear product roadmap, short feedback cycles and a direct impact on the user experience. Your tasks will include, among others: Development of new product features Bug fixes and technical improvements UI/UX implementation in the dashboard and affiliate portal Integrations with payment providers, APIs and third-party tools Development and expansion of our public customer API Further development of existing workflows Implementation of internal tools and automations Analysis and solution of technical customer problems The role is suitable for a strong junior or mid-level developer who has already implemented real product features and would like to develop further in a growing SaaS environment.

A pragmatic way of working is important: clean enough to be stable, fast enough to ship regularly. Qualifications

You should have experience with: React / Next.js TypeScript APIs Databases, ideally PostgreSQL Debugging and clean work in existing code Nice to have: Prisma tRPC Bun Stripe or other payment APIs You don't have to be a senior. A good junior or mid-level developer is also a good fit, as long as you are reliable, communicate clearly, learn quickly and want to ship pragmatically. I'm not looking for a vibe coder.

German is a prerequisite because we will work closely together and communication should be quick and easy.
