Data Science Assistant

StandWithUs is an international, nonpartisan Israel education organization that inspires and educates people of all ages and backgrounds, challenges misinformation, and fights antisemitism. StandWithUs's Data & Analytics team conducts data-driven and academic research to strengthen the fight against antisemitism and to inform strategic decision-making across the organization. The Data Science Assistant supports this work by helping design and administer surveys for internal and external purposes, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data on antisemitism, and assisting with manuscripts on antisemitism research.

This part-time position also supports internal program evaluation and works cross-departmentally to ensure research findings translate into actionable insights for StandWithUs's programs. This position is suited for someone who is analytically minded, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to advance Israel education and combat antisemitism. The role builds skills in research design, statistical analysis, technical writing, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Responsibilities - Assist with designing, administering, and analyzing surveys for internal and external purposes - Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to antisemitism research - Assist in writing and editing manuscripts on antisemitism research - Support internal program evaluation, including data collection, analysis, and reporting - Collaborate with other departments and within the research team on data-related projects as needed

Qualifications

• Looking for a data science/ AI major - Open to students provided that they can submit or show relevant experience/ completed projects - Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with statistical software and data analysis tools - Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear findings for varied audiences - Passion for and knowledge of antisemitism research and Israel education issues - Computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office, Google Drive/Suite, AI platforms, and other applications - A high degree of creativity/innovation and flexibility to meet organizational and departmental objectives - Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and reliable team player; proactive with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask effectively - Must be authorized to work in the United States; StandWithUs is unable to provide employment visa sponsorship Position Location: Remote Position Start Date: August 11, 2026 Salary: $22.00 an hour Employment Type: Part-time; 25 hours a week Salary: $22.00 an hour Apply directly on RemoteJobs.org: https://remotejobs.org/remote-jobs/data-science-assistant-standwithus
