Key Responsibilities

: Provide care and learning opportunities for children, promoting their communication and language, physical, social and emotional development. Help to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences and activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, encouraging children’s development, creativity and curiosity. Support practitioners in observing and assessing children’s learning and development, recording progress, and maintaining accurate learning and development records.

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children, following the nursery’s safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures. Work closely with colleagues, learning from experienced practitioners and contributing to a positive learning environment and collaborative team working. Build secure relationships with parents and carers, offering support and regular feedback on children's progress and well-being.
