For us, this isn’t just about technical performance, but also supporting the internal human processes that will always power much of our product. You will work closely with Product, Operations, Customer Support, Growth and other functions to design and build out a reliable, performant, and secure platform for handling remittances across countries. As an early member of the team, we hope you will also have a lot of impact on our team culture, processes and norms.Taptap Send is a cross-platform mobile app developed with React Native and TypeScript, which talks to a backend service written in Kotlin and backed by a PostgreSQL database, all of which runs on AWS and is managed via Terraform and Ansible.

Your Responsibilities

:Build out unified interface encapsulating dozens of third party payment integrationsWork on one of the pillar revenue centers of the organizationTake ownership of backend system architecture and implementationBuild performant and resilient data flows; keeping security in mind during every stepWork closely with product team to regularly ship working featuresWork in an iterative fashionEvaluate and deliver timeline estimates

Requirements
