What is the job?We’re scaling fast, doing things differently, and we’re looking for a HR Partner. Someone that thrives using creativity and deep ER & people expertise to guide people managers in an environment that has variety and the occasional bit of chaos that comes with startup life.This is a hands-on, people-first role where you’ll partner closely with our rapidly growing Patient Experience function, supporting managers and teams through a period of significant growth and transformation. You’ll be right at the heart of the action and a trusted partner to the business, spending time at both our London (Kings Cross) and Winnersh (Reading) offices every week.What will you be doing?Partner closely with Team Leads and Managers across the Patient Experience team to provide day-to-day HR support and guidance on all matters employee relations, performance management & development and people coaching.Act as a trusted advisor on people matters including performance management, wellbeing, absence, conduct and employee relationsSupport the full employee lifecycle from induction and probation through to progression and offboardingCoach and support managers to lead confidently, effectively and in line with company culture and valuesWork closely with recruitment and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all new startersSupport and lead on employee relations matters including investigations, performance concerns, welfare discussions and probation reviewsCollaborate with the Head of People & Talent on key people initiatives, process improvements and wider People projectsHelp embed and improve key people processes such as engagement surveys, performance check-ins, recognition initiatives and manager developmentUse data, trends and employee feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and proactively solve problemsSupport policy implementation and provide practical HR guidance in line with UK employment law and best practiceBuild strong relationships across operational teams and become a trusted and visible People partner within the businessSupport change, growth and organisational development as the business continues to scale rapidlyWhat do you need?Strong HRBP experience within a fast-paced, high-growth or operational environment where you have been supporting new & seasoned managers with complex people management, performance and development challenges.Experience supporting large frontline or customer-focused teams is highly desirableComfortable working in ambiguity and adapting quickly as priorities evolveConfidence handling employee relations matters with a calm, fair and pragmatic approachStrong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and support managers at different levelsHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demandsA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck inSelf-sufficient and comfortable working remotely whilst collaborating closely with UK-based teamsWorking knowledge of UK employment law is beneficial but not essentialExperience using HR systems such as HiBob is advantageous but not requiredWhat we offer:Generous Leave: 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after year one and 30 after year three) + usual bank holidaysPension Matching: Up to 5% employer matching contributionsFlexibility and Wellness: Work-from-home options, cycle-to-work scheme, private healthcare and moreGrowth Opportunities: Collaborate across teams and represent Montu at events, with support to grow your skills and impactEnhanced Maternity & Paternity LeaveAbout UsMontu UK is a leading digital health company specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPM), dedicated to improving patient access to safe and effective treatments.
