Requirements

: Proven experience operating as a Contract Cyber Security Manager or LeadStrong background in incident response, vulnerability management, and security posture improvementHands-on experience across network and perimeter security in enterprise environmentsComfortable operating in lean teams and becoming self-sufficient quicklyAble to balance leadership with hands-on delivery in complex environmentsFamiliarity with technologies such as Sophos, Nessus, Cisco Firepower, and Windows client environments Responsibilities: Owning and progressing cyber incident response planning and readiness activitiesReviewing vulnerability scan outputs, prioritising risk, and driving remediation actionsLeading remediation activities from penetration testing and security assessmentsReviewing and improving firewall rules, network segmentation, and data centre securityAssessing security across remote sites and WAN connectivityReviewing existing data discovery and access request tooling, producing recommendations for replacement and next stepsActing as the senior cyber point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates on risk, progress, and priorities Technologies: CiscoFirewallNetworkSecurityWindowsNexus More: We are a confidential private sector organization seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager to provide immediate, hands-on leadership across our cyber operations.
