Tax consulting firms are facing one of the biggest challenges of our time: the extreme shortage of skilled workers.

We are building the solution: AI-powered accounting on autopilot. Our AI assistants take over financial accounting, routine workflows and client communication - thereby multiplying the capacities of law firms. In order for our AI services to run smoothly at law firms, they must be integrated into their existing IT and DATEV landscapes.

The infrastructure is set up by the law firm administrators. This is where you come in: We are looking for a freelance IT consultant who will manage these administrators, ensure the go-live and act as a technical contact during ongoing operations. Tasks Your role & mission As an IT Integration Consultant, you are the central technical interface between Jessy Works and our customers' IT administrators.

You don't have to implement the configurations on the servers yourself - the administrators do that. Your job as a technical sparring partner is to guide them through the system

, validate their setups, carry out release calls and show tailor-made solution paths in the event of technical blockages. Your tasks Technical admin control: You accompany the IT administrators of the law firms through the onboarding process and ensure that all infrastructure

are precisely implemented before the go-live. Installation & release calls: You conduct structured coordination calls with the administrators, go through the technical checklist and approve the go-live. Technical troubleshooting & sparring at eye level: When administrators get stuck with configuration (e.g. with terminal server farms, session pinning, load balancers or SSL/TLS inspection), you understand the cause, provide targeted food for thought and suggest solutions.

Support during ongoing operations: If configuration conflicts or connection problems occur during ongoing operations, you can contact the administrators directly to clarify the issue quickly and sustainably.

Qualifications

What you bring with you In-depth know-how in Windows & server infrastructures: You are very familiar with RDS / terminal servers, loopback RDP, group policies and network basics (firewall ports, FQDN filtering, SSL/TLS inspection bypass, AV/EDR software, DNS, NTP, AWS IP ranges). DATEV experience: You understand the DATEV ecosystem and how DATEV client environments work on terminal server landscapes. Consultant mindset & strong communication skills: You speak the language of IT administrators, appear authoritative and professional and can clearly demand technical

Analytical troubleshooting: You don't have to click in the server OS yourself, but you can quickly isolate the causes of errors and provide administrators with solution-oriented options if they don't know what to do next. How you work: You work independently as a freelancer and have flexible capacities for planned onboarding calls and occasional support as needed.
