About the Role

What We're Looking For
Required (Dealbreakers):5+ years designing and operating cloud infrastructure systems in production environmentsHands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or PulumiProven experience architecting and managing Kubernetes clusters or container orchestration platforms in productionRequired Skills:Deep experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - including networking, storage, compute, and managed servicesExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationFamiliarity with observability and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, Datadog, New Relic)Experience designing database infrastructure including relational and NoSQL systems at scaleStrong security, networking, and access control implementation backgroundComfort operating in early-stage environments - setting standards, not following playbooksNice to Have:Experience building data infrastructure or data pipeline systemsFamiliarity with knowledge graphs, semantic systems, or graph databasesExperience with machine learning infrastructure or AI/ML platform systemsPrior founding or early-stage startup experienceLocationThis role is based on-site in San Mateo, CA.
