About the Role

The Senior Associate, Corporate Development supports Volta's M&A, strategic partnerships, and corporate strategy work - the analysis and execution behind the deals and initiatives that shape where the company goes next. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help evaluate opportunities, build the financial and strategic case for them, and support execution through to close.This is a high-exposure role for someone who wants to work directly on the strategic decisions defining a fast-scaling AI infrastructure company, with direct visibility to founders and executive leadership.What You Will Be DoingSupport evaluation of M&A, investment, and strategic partnership opportunitiesBuild financial models, valuation analysis, and business cases to support decision-makingConduct market, competitor, and industry research to inform corporate strategySupport due diligence processes across financial, commercial, and operational workstreamsPrepare materials and analysis for executive and board-level discussionsCoordinate with legal, finance, and other internal teams through deal executionTrack and report on the pipeline of strategic opportunities under evaluationSupport post-close integration planning where relevantWhat You BringExperience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting is essentialStrong financial modeling and valuation skillsExcellent analytical ability, able to structure and solve ambiguous strategic problemsComfortable working directly with senior leadership on high-stakes, confidential workStrong written and verbal communication, including executive-level materialsSelf-directed and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams under time pressureREQ-168What We OfferAt Volta, we believe people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted and able to grow.
