IT Infrastructure Security Engineer

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements

: ITIL Foundation and Microsoft MCSE (or equivalent)Strong experience with Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, VMware, Windows Server, SCCM, and PowerShellSolid understanding of networks, hybrid cloud environments, and mobile device managementSolid understanding of Cyber Security and its relevant frameworks - Cyber Essentials, ISO and NISTStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skillsProactive, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesCisco certifications highly desirable Responsibilities: Manage and optimise on-prem and cloud infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, endpoints)Support deployments, patching, identity management (AD / Azure AD), and operational automationOversee backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, and major incident resolutionMonitor and respond to SIEM/EDR alerts; conduct vulnerability scanning and remediationMaintain firewalls, endpoint protection, and security controls; support Cyber Essentials complianceCollaborate with IT, Digital Transformation, Data teams, and third-party suppliers Technologies: Active DirectoryAzureCloudCiscoSupportITILMobileOffice 365PowerShellSecurityVMwareWindows More: We are a leading professional membership and standards body located in the City of London, offering a hybrid working model with just one day a month in the office.
