Ecosystem Manager - Central (m/w/d)

Your Impact As Ecosystem Manager (Central), you are EIT Health's central contact for our central region. You bring together EIT Health, its members and the relevant actors in the health innovation ecosystems and actively shape collaboration in the region. The focus is on Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as, where applicable, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

Through your in-depth understanding of the health innovation landscape in the Central Region and building strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and organizations within the ecosystem, you will act as an expert and first point of contact for EIT Health on regional issues. You identify regional opportunities and challenges, analyze relevant developments and make them visible in order to further strengthen the impact and presence of EIT Health in the region. Our ecosystem managers work closely as a European team to exploit synergies across regions, create a common understanding of regional developments and areas of action and promote the exchange and further development of ideas between regions.

This role involves regular travel within the region. A residence in the Munich area or southern Germany is an advantage, as the focus of regional responsibility is in the central region. Tasks Regional networking & representation You ensure that the mechanisms, priorities and support offers for health innovations in the region are understood and incorporated into the planning and program offerings of EIT Health.

You make EIT Health's program offerings, activities and impact visible across the region and ensure that they are understood and noticed. You are committed to ensuring that the contribution of EIT Health members to healthcare innovation within the region is recognized and valued. Together with the New Business Development team, you will identify and negotiate opportunities to further expand and strengthen EIT Health's participation in regionally led activities.

You support and advise EIT Health members based in the region to gain access to and actively participate in EIT Health programs as well as other EU and regionally funded programs. Leadership & Collaboration You represent EIT Health in the region and take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of the assigned team members and virtual teams. You promote collaboration between EIT Health, regional members and other stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.

You will support the Head of Ecosystem Management in managing membership and ensuring that member lists, contact details and engagement records are current and maintained across all regions and locations. Impact, growth & visibility You identify relevant regional successes and impact contributions, document them and make them visible via EIT Health's communication channels. You actively promote the expansion of regional activities and the presence of EIT Health in the region.

Qualifications

You have at least 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience. You have experience working with senior level stakeholders. You have a strong network within the healthcare innovation ecosystem and know how to leverage this in a targeted manner.

You have experience in business development/member acquisition and key account management, ideally in a member-based organization. You have in-depth knowledge and practical experience in at least one relevant national healthcare innovation ecosystem, preferably in Germany, Austria or the Netherlands. You know the relevant funding landscapes at regional and EU level and can navigate them confidently.

You understand the processes and dynamics of innovation in healthcare. You recognize synergies and opportunities that fit the goals of EIT Health and know how to use them in a targeted manner. You live in the Munich area or southern Germany, as this is where the focus of your regional responsibility lies.

You speak German and English fluently.
