A growing e-commerce brand for sustainable, high-quality products “Made in Germany” has emerged from a Swabian family business in tool making. Over 250,000 baskets sold later, the company is clearly on course for growth - with new product lines and new sales channels. The company is looking for reinforcements so that the next steps can be taken on a solid numerical basis.

Your role You build controlling from the ground up - and turn gut feeling and Excel tables into real, data-based control. You report directly to the management, have full creative freedom and become the central point for all commercial questions. Setting up controlling tasks: establishing a KPI scorecard and single source of truth, ongoing run rate, budget planning and rolling forecast with scenarios KPI control: setting up a dashboard with the relevant key figures (CAC, MER, advertising cost ratio, contribution margin after advertising) Liquidity & Cash: rolling 13-week liquidity planning and planning the pre-financing of our international production Assortment & margin: identifying fast-moving items and slow-moving items, calculating bundles, contribution margin per item and determine variant Purchasing & supply chain: Monitor ERP purchasing, calculate new products (landed cost, customs, MOQ), renegotiate supplier conditions, create make-or-buy and investment calculations Costs & partners: Question payment conditions, service providers and agencies with numbers Drive special projects: provide commercial support for international production, new product lines and investment decisions Qualification Commercial studies or training (business administration, finance, controlling) or comparable sound knowledge Controlling/finance experience, ideally in e-commerce or trading in physical goods Very strong in numbers and analysis; Confident in Excel/Google Sheets and a BI tool (Power BI or Looker Studio)Experience with forecasts, liquidity planning, contribution margin/margin calculations and inventory data The ability to drive commercial projects independently Business fluent German, English is an advantage Hands-on mentality, pragmatic and with the aim of getting topics through to the end
