Requirements
. - Partner across sales, product, risk, underwriting, operations, and technology to improve visibility into business performance. - Help evaluate growth opportunities, new products, partnerships, geographic expansion, and potential acquisitions. - Lead cash management, capital planning, compliance-related financial oversight, and risk-informed decision-making. - Build, lead, and develop the finance team. What You Bring - Senior finance leadership experience in payments, merchant acquiring, payment processing, gateways, ISOs, sponsor bank models, embedded payments, or related fintech environments. - Strong understanding of payments revenue complexity, merchant acquiring economics, residual reporting, portfolio performance, processing costs, and interchange economics. - Experience working in a private equity-backed company or directly with private equity sponsors, boards, and investors. - Ability to connect financial reporting to business performance, operating metrics, and growth decisions. - Experience building reporting, forecasting, budgeting, controls, and scalable finance processes. - Comfort operating in a growing middle-market company where the CFO needs to be strategic, hands-on, and close to the details. - Experience with board reporting, investor communication, capital planning, and business performance reviews. - Ability to partner with sales, product, risk, underwriting, operations, technology, and executive leadership. - Experience with merchant portfolios, sponsor bank oversight, residuals, ISO or agent models, ISV partnerships, or complex merchant verticals. - CPA preferred, but not required.
