Quality Assurance Specialist (Freelancer)

The REF team is looking for digital quality assurance freelancers to enrich its talent bank, with the intention of commissioning quickly as needed. We are looking for people who can join us occasionally to lend a hand to the team, take over certain needs or contribute to various future mandates. Collaborations can last from a few hours to several weeks, depending on priorities, availability and the pace of the projects.

Reporting directly to the QA Lead, QAs are an essential link in the realization of our digital projects. Their role is to detect and document all bugs and other anomalies that may occur during the use of our products before delivering the project to the client. Versatility and rigor are essential qualities that allow them to guarantee the reliability of our projects: experiential sites, corporate platforms, e-commerce stores, mobile applications, etc.

What you could do: Validate user scenarios, specifications and compliance with best practices Run tests in different environments (browsers, platforms and operating systems) Validate the structure of the CMS and test the edition as well as content translation Detect functional bugs, visual failures and accessibility non-compliances List, detail and prioritize bugs via our tracking tools (Marker, JIRA) Regularly monitor bugs until they are corrected and the projects are put online Monitor the progress of mandates and participate in meetings with the project team. Ensure that tests are carried out within the required deadlines while respecting the production schedule The profiles we are looking for: Experience in web quality assurance and ideally in agencies.

Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and to quickly grasp the challenges of the mandates. Experience with CMS for content publishing (if you already have experience with headless CMS, even better) Attention to detail. We appreciate people with an eagle eye, who are capable of detecting anomalies in the smallest details.

Critical thinking and the ability to think differently to go beyond planned scenarios and detect bugs that are less visible at first glance. Good communication skills and a taste for teamwork. Bonus points for: Experience or knowledge of accessibility standards Proficiency with JIRA Proficiency with Marker or similar tools.
