Through this support, our nurseries can deliver excellence - with 98% of our 270+ portfolio being rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.We’re on a mission to change the future for children, families, and the people we work with, and are committed to progressive working values like flexibility, work-life balance, and wellbeing.Responsible for: Timely and accurate posting of accounting transactions Monthly P&L variance analysis to ensure all transactions are appropriate and substantiated Completion and review of balance sheet reconciliations Identification of risks and opportunities Supporting with the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting where necessary Perform ad-hoc analysis as required Attend Nursery performance reviews and salary focus groups Explain complex financial information to Non-Finance Staff and support them with finance based queries Collaborate and communicate with other Finance Departments Work effectively with different parts of the organisation to achieve common goals Keep up to date with organisational changes, financial regulations and the market place Respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality Interact with Internal and External Auditors Essential Experience: Experience in Month end Accounting Balance Sheet experience Experience in forecasting and budgeting Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience Desirable:Knowledge of US GAAP

Qualifications
