[Job - 31053] Senior Data Architect (GCP, Salesforce Data Cloud), Brazil

CI&T is expanding and is looking for a Senior Data Architect to lead the transformation of the analytical ecosystem of a leading retail client.

The position will act as specialized technical reinforcement, dedicated to the customer's architecture cell, with the mission of diagnosing the existing data architecture and designing the future data ecosystem, integrating customer data platform and cloud environment in a scalable and business results-oriented way. The role requires a holistic view of the data lifecycle - from generation in operational and CRM sources to delivery to analytical products and business activation - and balances technical depth with direct communication between development teams and business leadership. It is a long-term initiative, with no defined end date, with 100% remote operation throughout the national territory.

Responsibilities - Architecture Assessment: Performs an in-depth analysis of the client's current data architecture and operational model, identifying opportunities for improvement, optimization and evolution based on existing technologies and capabilities, focusing on the GCP environment. It must also have an architectural vision to propose more comprehensive structural changes, including possibly the adoption of new platforms or technologies, when technically viable, supporting the proposals with technical, strategic and business arguments. - Data Flow Mapping: maps the complete flow of data, from generation in operational, transactional and CRM sources to ingestion, transformation, governance and delivery to analytical products. - Solution Design: designs and proposes a new integrated data architecture, ensuring interoperability between the customer data platform (Salesforce Data Cloud) and the cloud and analytical Lakehouse environment. - AI-Readiness: structures the architecture to support use cases of generative Artificial Intelligence, vector search, predictive models and autonomous data agents. - Governance and Good Practices: guides data development and analytics teams in adopting best practices for modeling, pipelines, lineage, data quality and compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). - Cost Optimization: evaluates and optimizes the operational and financial efficiency of cloud resources and customer data platform licenses, through FinOps practices. - Communication with Stakeholders: moves between technical teams and business leaders, translating complex processes into clear and actionable architectural recommendations.

Requirements

for this challenge: - Solid background in Data Architecture - data development and modeling, with experience in data pipelines. - In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce Data Cloud customer data platform, including customer data modeling (DMO/DSO), profile unification, insights calculation and activation rules - non-negotiable requirement - Proficiency in data architecture and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, pipeline orchestration and identity and access management - Proven ability to see the complete data lifecycle and translate business processes into end-to-end data architectures - Strong systemic vision, clear communication and ease of moving between technical teams and business executives - Results orientation, process efficiency and pragmatic problem solving Differentiators: - Experience with Databricks, Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold), Delta Lake, PySpark/Spark SQL and Unity Catalog - Experience with Snowflake, virtual warehouse architecture, Snowpark and Data Sharing resources, including native integration with customer data platforms via Zero-Copy - Knowledge in dimensional, relational modeling and integration patterns in batch and streaming - Knowledge of alternative clouds, such as AWS or Azure - Certifications such as Salesforce Data Cloud Accredited Professional, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer/Architect, Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional, SnowPro Advanced: Architect or SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer Our
