Senior Information Security Engineer

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements

: Demonstrable experience of implementing enterprise security platformsStrong understanding and knowledge of Information Security risk management tools and techniquesAwareness of Information Security control standards and frameworksAwareness and understanding of the Information Security threat landscapeDeep understanding of Information Security solutions (e.g. email/web gateways, PAM, IGA, SIEM, Endpoint protection)Knowledge/experience with firewalls (highly advantageous)Experience of Cloud security solutions and standards (highly advantageous)Experience working within recognised Information Security frameworks and best practices (e.g. ISO27001, NIST)5 years experience in an Information Security role, preferably in financial services or e-commerceSignificant experience in the area of Information Technology (IT) securityStrong knowledge of core IT and networking conceptsExtensive experience implementing industry-standard IT security platformsStrong ownership of tasks and attention to detailAbility to challenge and improve Information Security strategiesAbility to work independently and communicate effectivelyStructured, self-starting, and flexible, with a preference for fast-paced environmentsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to plan, organise, and follow through on tasks with minimal supervisionExcellent attention to detailAttained or working towards CISSP certification Responsibilities: Support the Chief Information Security Officer in managing and reporting Information Security RisksDesign and implement improvements to Cybersecurity risk management tools, systems, and processesLead delivery and maintenance of technical enterprise security solutions (e.g.
