Following our recent $80m Series C funding, we are ready to push beyond. The opportunityWe are searching for a Director of Finance to lead our Accounting and Finance function. The Finance team offers a unique opportunity as you spend time in diverse markets like Asia, Europe, and LATAM.
As we are still relatively early on our journey, you can really shape the future of Distribusion with us. This position will report directly to the Distribusion CFO.What you will do:Lead, manage and further develop the Accounting and Finance function, ensuring the achievement of objectives and delivering high-quality work.Accountability for financial operations, including Invoicing, Accounting, Controlling, budgeting, liquidity and cash flow management.Manage clearing and settlement on a global scale.Continuously monitor and drive process improvements within the Accounting and Finance function, leveraging automation and technology (software systems) to streamline workflows and increase efficiencyOrganise structured internal and external reporting that is compliant with all relevant financial regulations and reporting
Requirements
Build and maintain effective relationships with Banks, Accounting Offices, Financial Authorities, and other stakeholders, and oversee external service providersMonitor and manage the company's cash flow and foreign exchange, ensuring that there is adequate liquidity to meet the company's obligationsMonitor and analyse key financial metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-makingCollaborate closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product, technology, commercial, retail partnerships and operations, to support strategic initiatives, business decisions, and financial planningProvide guidance and support during due diligence processes for potential funding roundsProvide leadership, development and motivation, and set clear team and individual goals to develop and promote a sustainable team structureWorkplace: Belrin & HybridWe are ideally seeking to locate this role at our HQ in Berlin, Germany.
