Strategic Accounts Managers at Flexco can expect starting compensation of between $110,000.00 and $140,000.00 per year, or more, depending on experience, education and skills. Strategic Account Manager Purpose: The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and developing long-term relationships with strategically important customers in Flexco North America. The position contributes significantly to the implementation of the global sales strategy and the achievement of corporate objectives. The focus is on developing customer-specific business plans, increasing customer satisfaction, and identifying new market opportunities.
Through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the Strategic Account Manager actively supports Flexco's sustainable growth.What you will need:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and trainingMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in a strategic sales environment, ideally in an international settingTop candidates will have previous experience in the logistics industryExperience working with/responding to large-scale opportunities.Financial and budgeting skills and experienceComputer literacy with CRM and MS Office solutionsThe ability to work in an environment that is occasionally exposed to elements such as dust, odor, heat and/or coldStrong mechanical aptitudePositive Orientation - sense of urgency and results orientedInterpersonal skills and flexibility when dealing with different peopleWhat you will be doing:Create, direct, manage and implement Flexco’s sales strategy at selected strategic accounts within a vertical.Conduct ‘deep dive’ strategic account campaigns, enabling customers to experience the full Flexco value proposition to deploy deeper into their organization.Building and managing a sales pipeline while tracking all activities through the various stages of the sales funnel.Develop plans and share customer vision and expectations for internal alignment. Deploy standard processes and tools that drive internal efficiencies and foster uniformity of work.Manage, oversee, and coordinate all aspects of strategic account customer engagements for specific accounts.Understand, communicate, and be an advocate for the expectations of the customer with Flexco teams.Demonstrate value though an understanding of technologies and services to bring innovative solutions to our customers. Engages the support of internal resources and partners to introduce expertise that helps customers develop and implement their strategies.Work with Flexco Sales Managers to develop engagement strategies through the field sales force.Develop strong relationships with various Flexco distribution channel partners and leverage those relationship in strategic account opportunities.Maintain all account documentation and direct all communications and updates to the customer in a regular and proactive manner.
Deliver regular internal and customer business reviews.Responsible for overall Customer Satisfaction in delivery of all services. Proactively meet and communicate with the customer. Seek feedback and drive continuous improvement.
Resolve issues in an effective and timely manner by engaging appropriate teams.Track financial performance on selected Strategic Accounts to make sure all work is executing in a profitable manner. Compile reports to provide spend data to internal teams and customer.
