At Recess, weâre not just building beverages â weâre creating a lifestyle brand that connects with people through innovation, design, and authenticity.The Role The Sr. Director, National Accounts at Recess, will lead HQ call points with key partners Kroger and Albertsons as well as sales strategy and execution across divisional planning for each account. You'll focus on building strong customer relationships, driving profitable growth, and expanding Recess' footprint across the market.
You will bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to delivery results while cultivating long-term partnerships. This role is eligible to participate in our Recess Sales Bonus Plan, which will be detailed during the candidate journey. What You'll Do Deliver against volume, revenue, and market share targets, along with key KPIs (ACV, promo efficiency, trade ROI)Manage trade and promotional budgets, ensuring spending is efficient and aligned to team goalsBuild and present custom sales pitch decks for Recess products, tailored to each key accountCultivate and maintain strong relationships with buyers and senior account stakeholdersManager P&L for slotting, promotions, and other customer-related expenses Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.) to execute strong account plansIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within identified key channels Provide accurate, timely reporting on promotional schedules and customer activityWhat You'll BringBachelor's Degree preferred5+ years of CPG specific sales experience, ideally in Mass or Grocery channelsExperience with Kroger, Albertsons or other national accounts strongly preferredRobust knowledge of CPG sales processes and promotional planningExcellent relationship-building and interpersonal skillsEngaging presentation and communication skillsStrong financial literacy with the ability to manage trade budgets and P&LResults-oriented mindset, adaptable, and comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel domestically required Why Recess?Wellness
