Apprentice Baker

Get hands-on experience at every stage of the baking process, from weighing and mixing ingredients to creating delicious breads, rolls and cakes from scratch. You'll learn how to prove, bake and finish products to the highest standards while playing an important role in maintaining a safe, hygienic and professional bakery environment. Master the art of weighing, mixing and crafting doughs from scratch Create delicious breads, rolls and cakes to professional standards Watch your creations come to life through proving, baking and finishing Play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean and high-quality bakery environment At the end of the apprenticeship, you will get a Baker level 2 qualification.

You will attend Yeovil College every Tuesday morning for Theory sessions plus 7 practical sessions on a Monday throughout the course. The rest of the time you will be working and training alongside our bakers at our Bakery in Bruton.
