The ideal candidate will reside in Europe and is willing to travel significantly.In this role, you will drive revenue growth, customer retention, and strategic account development within assigned territories and product lines. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing to ensure customer success and alignment with business objectives.This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of commercial experience in the fiber optic industry and thrive in customer-facing roles.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales targets and revenue objectives across assigned accountsManage selling expenses within approved budgetsDevelop and grow relationships with Core, Key, and Growth AccountsEstablish strong partnerships with technical and commercial decision-makersAlign account strategies with customer objectives and US Conec business plansCollaborate with Customer Service, Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing teamsSupport Strategic Account Managers and guide Inside Sales/Customer Service teamsMaintain in-depth knowledge of fiber optic connectors, cables, and industry standardsPromote products using professional selling techniquesParticipate in trade shows, customer events, and promotional initiativesIdentify new product opportunities and provide market intelligenceAnalyze customer markets to support account planningProvide regular performance reporting to Regional Sales ManagerCoordinate resolution of field performance or product-related concernsRequired
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (technical or engineering field preferred) or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in the fiber optic industryStrong knowledge of fiber optic cables, connectors, and related hardwareExperience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft OfficeExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation and negotiation abilitiesWillingness to travel within the EMEA regionWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary with performance-based incentivesGenerous annual leave (20+ days, country-specific compliance)Employer-sponsored pension/retirement contributions (local compliance)Health and wellbeing
