Requirements
: We require you to have at least 1 year of experience working as an IT Technician in a school or college. You must possess a British passport to pass an enhanced DBS check, a full UK driving licence, and access to a vehicle. Good communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with senior leadership teams and vendors.
We are looking for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and a positive, professional, and proactive attitude. Experience working within Google or Microsoft environments is also important. Responsibilities: In your role as an IT Technician, you will provide first-line deskside support for hardware, software, and AV equipment across the school.
You will log, manage, and resolve IT support tickets using our service desk system while escalating issues when necessary. Your daily tasks will involve diagnosing and repairing common hardware and software faults on PCs, laptops, tablets, projectors, interactive whiteboards, and printers. Additionally, you will maintain network connections and support staff and pupils in using Google Workspace and other educational applications.
Implementing IT security measures, maintaining accurate IT asset records, and assisting with IT-related projects will also be part of
