About VoltaVolta is the category-defining, fully vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform - from capital to clusters to software, under a founder-led enterprise. Our mission is The Utility of Compute™: AI infrastructure as dependable and available as electricity, for every organization that needs it. Launched with a $10B strategic partnership with one of the leading frontier AI labs, a Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, and a $5B AI Infrastructure Fund, Volta is building the infrastructure layer of the AI era from the ground up.
We are 100+ people across London, Palo Alto, and New York, with rapid growth expectations to hundreds.
About the Role
Volta is building AI-ready data centre infrastructure across the UK, Norway, Germany, Spain and the US, and is preparing for a US public listing as a foreign private issuer following a Series A led by a16z and Altimeter. Getting our external reporting infrastructure ready - US GAAP financial statements, SEC-standard disclosures and input to the supporting close processes - is one of the finance function's defining projects over the next 12 to 16 months. As SEC Reporting Manager you will build and run the external reporting process: preparing US GAAP consolidated financial statements and footnotes, drafting disclosures to SEC standard, and constructing the supporting evidence and tie-out discipline expected of a registrant. You will work directly with the Director of Technical Accounting and the VP Accounting and be central to the F-1 preparation and the first audited financial statements. This is a build role, not a maintain role - you will create the reporting calendar, the disclosure checklists and the tie-out packs from scratch and see them through a first-year Big Four audit into a live registration statement. What You Will Be DoingPrepare US GAAP consolidated financial statements, including full footnote disclosures, for audit and ultimately SEC filingBuild and maintain the disclosure checklist and reporting calendar across annual and interim cyclesDraft SEC-standard disclosures (F-1/20-F sections, MD&A support) working with the Director of Technical Accounting and the VP of Accounting, as well as the wider teamOwn the tie-out process: every number in the statements agreed to support, referenced and reviewableManage the consolidation and FX translation (ASC 830) mechanics feeding the statementsCoordinate audit deliverables and respond to auditor requests through fieldwork and completionPrepare statutory bridge outputs for UK filing
