As an Apprentice Sports Coach, you will play an important role in creating a fun, safe and welcoming environment for members and their families. You will support the delivery of classes, camps, competitions and events, while learning the skills and knowledge needed to become a confident and capable coach. Welcome members, parents and carers, providing friendly and professional customer service. Assist with registrations, attendance checks and maintaining class registers. Support qualified coaches with warm-ups, activity delivery, demonstrations and cool-downs.

Respond to enquiries and assist with bookings, telephone calls, emails and general administration. Support the planning and delivery of camps, competitions, courses, parties and other AAAsports events. Carry out equipment checks and report any damage, hazards or safety concerns.
Help maintain clean, safe and welcoming facilities, including activity areas, reception spaces and equipment. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will receive structured training and mentoring, giving you the opportunity to build your confidence and develop the skills required to lead activities under appropriate supervision. You will also attend team meetings, training sessions and apprenticeship learning activities as part of your professional development.
