Senior Backend Developer

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

: We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong skill set in OOP, PHP5, MySQL, and Git. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Google Cloud / AWS, Docker, Load Balancing, TDD, and Code Review will be considered beneficial. Responsibilities: In this in-office role, you will be part of an entrepreneurial team based in Fareham.

You will work within a dedicated LAMP environment, reporting to the project manager. Your main responsibilities will include planning and developing our products and internal websites, managing data migration, and supporting and maintaining our security and storage services. You will primarily focus on backend development, emphasizing Agile processes, system optimization, TDD, and modern development practices.

You will also utilize the latest PHP release, XHTML, CSS, jQuery, and conduct code quality assurance using PHPUnit and Selenium.
