Role Overview:The Shopify CRO Designer & Funnel Optimizer will lead the design, UX, and CRO strategy for our clients' Shopify websites. This includes product pages, landing pages, mobile optimization, and full-funnel user flows. You’ll work closely with media buyers and creative strategists to ensure the traffic we drive actually converts - turning browsers into buyers.This is a strategic-meets-tactical role: you’ll analyze heatmaps, session recordings, and conversion data - then implement changes directly in Shopify (or using tools like Replo, GemPages, or PageFly).
You’ll also be tasked with designing custom landing pages for specific offers, product launches, or ad campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
:✦ Shopify CRO & UX DesignAudit and optimize client Shopify stores to improve load speed, UX, and conversion ratesDesign and build high-converting product pages, collections, and homepage layoutsImplement conversion-focused elements like urgency, social proof, trust badges, sticky ATC, upsells, etc.✦ Landing Page Design & TestingBuild custom landing pages for campaigns using tools like Replo, Zipify, or native Shopify sectionsRun A/B tests and continuously optimize pages based on performance dataCreate mobile-first experiences that reduce friction and maximize checkout completion✦ Funnel & Checkout OptimizationImprove user flows from ad click to post-purchase upsellRecommend and implement apps or native Shopify solutions to enhance conversion (e.g., one-click upsells, bundling, etc.)Support the development of “quiz” or guided shopping experiences to improve engagement and AOV✦ Collaboration & StrategyWork cross-functionally with media buyers, copywriters, and brand managers to align the website experience with ad strategyTranslate ad angles and offers into matching landing pages or optimized PDPsSuggest and implement quick wins for CRO using data from Hotjar, Google Analytics, and Shopify reports
Qualifications
:2+ years of experience designing and optimizing Shopify websitesStrong background in UX/UI design with a portfolio that shows CRO thinkingFamiliarity with Shopify themes, Liquid, and page builders like Replo, GemPages, or PageFlyExperience using tools like Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Google Optimize, or similarUnderstanding of direct-response marketing and ad-driven eCommerce funnelsBonus: familiarity with subscription flows, Klaviyo popups, or custom landing page logicBonus Responsibilities (Optional, but Recommended):To take this role to the next level and support growth at KultreMedia, this person can also:Manage CRO Testing Sprints: Own a monthly optimization plan per client with prioritized test ideasReport on Funnel Data: Collaborate with the media team to identify drop-off points and CRO opportunitiesDevelop Theme Frameworks: Build reusable Shopify sections or templates we can repurpose across clientsOriginally posted on Himalayas
